VGDS/VED Vouchers Accepted

At Rosanna Family Dental Clinic, VGDS and VED Vouchers are accepted.

VGDS – General care vouchers (Am I eligible? See Below).

There are times when your local community dental clinic cannot provide you with general care. In this situation, you may be given a voucher so that you can receive treatment from a private dentist. you will be required to pay same fee that you would pay at the community dental clinic.When you visit Rosanna Family Dental, you may find that some treatments or services are not covered by voucher. In this case, you can choose to have the treatment undertaken with Rosanna Family Dental but you will have to pay the full cost.

• General vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date they are issues.
• You are required to pay co-payments for each item up to maximum of $104.00. This voucher is for $770.00.

VEDS – Emergency Vouchers (Am I eligible? See Below.)

In some rural and outer metropolitan areas, emergency treatment may not be immediately available at the local community dental clinic. In this situation, you may be offered a voucher so that you can receive treatment from a private dentist. you will be required to pay the same fee that you would pay at the community dental clinic. Only the problem requiring emergency care will be treated at this time. If you require other general treatment, you will need to be on a waiting list at a community dental clinic or you can for treatment from the private dentist.

• Emergency vouchers are valid for 28 days from the date they are issued
• You are eligible to pay $26.00 prior to your appointment. The voucher will cover you for Emergency Treatment up to $273.00.

The following people are eligible:

Children and young people:

• All children aged 0-12 years
• Young people aged 13-17 years who are health care or pensioner concession card holders or dependants of concession card holders.
• All children and young people up to 18 years of age in residential care provided by the children youth and families division of the Department of Human Services.
• All youth justice clients in custodial care, up to 18 years of age.
